I must admit that almost the sole reason that the Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner caught my eye was the price it has for its size. I thought it was too good to be true, but I still wanted to try it because, what if it was actually good?

Debo admitir que casi la única razón por la que el Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner me llamó la atención fue el precio que tiene para su tamaño. Pensé que era demasiado bueno para ser verdad, pero aún así lo quería probar porque ¿y si resultaba que era bueno?

There's not much I can say from the Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner's brand. Honestly, there's not much on the toner itself neither on the internet in a language I can understand. I know this toner is from a Japanese brand, and the ingredient list because it's in English on the bottle and on the internet, but that's about it. I haven't had any luck with toners I thought I'd love (like the The Saem See & Saw AC Control Toner, for example), so I was ready to try something completely new.

No hay mucho que pueda decir sobre la marca del Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner. Bueno, la verdad es que tampoco hay mucho que pueda decir sobre el tónico en sí porque todo lo que encuentro por internet está en idiomas que no entiendo. Sé que este tónico es de una marca japonesa, y la lista de ingredientes porque está en inglés en la botella y en internet, pero ya está. No he tenido suerte con ningún tónico que pensaba que me iba a gustar (como el See & Saw AC Control Toner de The Saem por ejemplo), así que estaba dispuesta a probar algo totalmente diferente.

The I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner is a very liquid toner, or skin conditioner, that's supposed to be hydrating. The only information I had on this toner was the one available in the page of the store that sent it to me: that it is a multi-action conditioner that can be used on the face and body, boost effectiveness of next skincare steps, that is supposed to be "enriched with Vitamin B1 and B2 to clear acne and correct skin tone"... but not much more.


El Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner es un tónico, o acondicionador de piel, muy líquido que se supone que es hidratante. La única información que tengo es la que hay en la descripción del producto de la página que me lo mando: que es un acondicionador multi acción que se puede usar en la cara y el cuerpo, aumenta la efectividad de los siguientes productos, que se supone que está enriquecido con Vitaminas B1 y B2 para tratar el acné y corregir el tono de la piel... pero no mucho más.

The I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner packaging is pretty straight forward: a huge bottle of (not very hard) plastic, and by huge I mean 500ml, half a liter of product. It has screw cap, and just plastic around the bottle to ensure security. You now if you've read any of my other reviews that I'm not a fan of the "shake it till it comes out" system, but at least this toner is so liquid the product comes as soon as you incline it so that's at least good (but it doesn't leak if it's closed- the cap is a good one).

El bote del Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner es bastante simple: una botella enorme de plástico (no duro), y por enorme me refiero a 500ml, medio litro de producto. Tiene un tapón a rosca, y sólo un plástico que cubre toda la botella para asegurar que no se ha abierto. Ya sabéis si habéis leído cualquier otra de mis reseñas que no soy fan del sistema "sacude hasta que salga", pero por lo menos este tónico es tan líquido que con inclinar la botella ya se obtiene (pero no se escapa del bote si estás cerrado, el tapón es bueno).

The I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner ingredient list surprisingly short and straight to the point. You can read a more detailed explanation of each ingredient here in Skincarisma. Bad things first: it uses paraben as preservatives, and it has alcohol. As you can see alcohol is on the last positions on the list, so it's really used to enhance the absorption of ingredients, and as for the paraben... I prefer to use products that are paraben-free just in case, but truth is there's no definite study that says that paraben are harmful for the human body. The first few ingredients are water, humectant, texture enhancer, skin-replenishing humectant, skin-soothing plant extract and the "main ingredient".

La lista de ingredientes del Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner es sorprendentemente corta y directa al grano. Puedes leer una lista más detallada de los ingredientes aquí en Skincarisma. Pero lo malo primero: usa parabenos como preservativos, y tiene alcohol. Como podéis ver el alcohol está en las últimas posiciones de la lista, así que de verdad creo que sólo está para aumentar la absorción de los ingredientes, y por lo que a los parabenos respecta... Prefiero usar productos que estén libres de parabenos por si acaso, pero la verdad es que no hay estudios definitivos que digan que son dañinos para el cuerpo. Los primeros ingredientes son agua, humectante, potenciador de textura, humectante regenerador, extracto de planta calmante para la piel y el "ingrediente principal".

The main ingredient of the I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner is Job's Tear Seed Extract. We don't have that in Spain, and it was my first time reading about it, and turns out that the su:m37 toner I was using (more on this later) also has it as an ingredient. I read that Job's Tear (Coix Seed) is kind of famous in China used as a herb in infusions (its Chinese name is Yi Yi Ren) and it's rich in fatty acids. I couldn't find any evidence of this ingredient being as beneficial if applied topically, but by how amazing this works on my skin, I'm choosing to believe it is almost as beneficial as when eating it. But, honestly, seeing how great the ingredients before this one are, maybe those are the ones that make this toner my favorite as of now.

No tenemos este ingrediente en España, era la primera vez que leía si quiera su nombre, y resulta que el tónico de su:m37 que estaba usando hasta ese momento (más sobre esto luego) también lo tiene como ingrediente. Leí que las Lágrimas de Job (Coix Seed) es bastante famoso en China usado como hierba en infusiones (su nombre chino es Yi Yi Ren) y es rico en ácidos grasos. No pude encontrar nada que evidenciara que es un ingrediente beneficioso aplicado tópicamente, pero por lo genial que deja mi piel, quiero pensar que es tan bueno como cuando se ingiere. Aunque, la verdad, es que viendo los buenos ingredientes que le preceden, igual son esos los que hacen que este tónico sea mi favorito hasta la fecha.

I started to use the I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner sooner that I planned to, because the toner I was using at the time, the su:m37 Time Energy Skin Resetting Refining Toner, wasn't working for me in my night time routines as I told you in its entry (to be posted). From the very first time I used the I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner I was pretty much blown away: I applied quite a lot (because I repeat this is a 500ml product, I'm not concerned of finishing this any time soon), with my bare hands, my skin absorbed it quite fast, and the next steps had never applied or absorbed better.

It wasn't something that only happened that first time, my whole skincare routine upgraded in comfort (products applied better, cutting down the waiting time between each one), my skin just wasn't more moisturized when I finished the routine, it also looked like it the following morning (looked more plump, having a healthy shine), and it is so light weight that after a particularly drying clay mask like the Laneige Mini Pore Waterclay Mask, I can apply even 3 layers of this and then follow with my usual routine (no, I don't do the 7 skin method thing, I tried it once and my skin hated it).


Empecé a usar el Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner antes de lo que había planeado, porque el tónico que estaba usando en ése momento, el Time Energy Skin Resetting Refining Toner de su:m37, no estaba llevándose bien con mi piel en las rutinas de noche como os expliqué en su entrada (entrada por ser publicada). Desde la primera vez que usé el Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner me dejó descolocada: apliqué bastante (porque repito que tiene 500ml, no estoy con miedo de gastarlo antes de tiempo), con mis manos, la piel lo absorbió bastante rápido y los siguientes pasos jamás los había aplicado o se habían absorbido mejor.

No es algo que me pasara sólo la primera vez, toda mi rutina ha mejorado en sensación de comodidad (los productos se aplican mejor, menor tiempo de espera entre ellos), mi piel no estaba sólo más hidratada al terminar la rutina, también lo parecía al día siguiente (estaba más "llena", con un brillo natural), y es tan ligero que después de mascarillas de arcilla particularmente secas como la Mini Pore Waterclay Mask de Laneige, puedo aplicar incluso 3 capas y luego seguir con el resto de la rutina (no, no hago el método de las 7 capas, lo probé una vez y mi piel lo odió).

The I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner is so light weighted that you can even use this as a second toner after your pH-balancing one, or maybe if you don't have too much time in the morning for your skincare, you can use it as the main hydrating toner-essence and then just apply a moisturizing cream.

Honestly, if someone would have told me how good the I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner was before I tried it myself I would have probably laughed in their face because around 7€ for 500ml being a good toner... no way. But it really is. It isn't fancy, or doesn't have the best design, but a lot of the times we forget that all of that maybe isn't as important, and what should work is the product- and this definitely does. The same way the Cosrx Advanced 96 Snail Mucin Essence is a staple in my routines, the I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner became another one, no doubt about it.


El I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner es tan ligero que incluso se puede usar como un segundo tónico después de uno regulador del pH, o si no tienes mucho tiempo para tus rutinas de mañana, se puede usar como el producto tónico-esencia hidratante principal y después aplicar sólo la crema.

Sinceramente, si alguien me hubiera dicho lo bueno que es el I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner antes de haberlo leído probablemente me hubiera reído en su cara porque unos 7€ por 500ml y que sea un tónico bueno... ni de coña. Pero resulta que sí, que lo es. No es lujoso, no tiene el mejor diseño, pero muchas veces nos olvidamos que eso no es lo importante, que lo importante es el producto, y éste vaya si lo es. Igual que el Advanced 96 Snail Mucin Essence de Cosrx es un fijo en mis rutinas, el I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner se ha convertido en otro, sin duda.

You can buy the I-mju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner here for 8.50$ which honestly is crazy to me how inexpensive this amazing product is. I definitely want to try more product from this brand, see if those are on par with the "amazingness" of this toner.
