the SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion review

Every time I need to buy new creams or overall skincare products I keep getting drawn to the Saem ever since I tried their Power Ampoule Hydra (review here) and the Saemmul AC Control BB cream (entry here). So I obviously ended up buying this time the SAEM's See & Saw AC Control Emulsion.


Cada vez que tengo que comprar nuevos productos para la piel the Saem me llama más y más desde que probé su serum Power Ampoule Hydra (opiné de ello aquí) y la Saemmul AC Control BB cream (aquí la suya). Así que obviamente cedí, y terminé comprándome ésta hidratante the SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion.

The Saem's See&Saw line is targeted to people with problematic skin who suffer from acne, acne prone skin and at the same time takes into consideration sensitive skin. I really liked this even just reading about it online, because a lot of times acne control products are way too harsh for sensitive skins. 

As you can see on the photo, the See&Saw line in a complete skincare line starting from cleanser and ending with spot care. If you have dry and acne pore skin you should try doing what the brand suggest, applying emulsion and then the oil-free cream, but that would be too much for oily skins. The complete line is non-comedogenic.


La línea the SAEM See & Saw está dirigida a gente con piel problemática que sufre acne, piel con tendencia acnéica a la vez que tienen en cuenta las pieles sensibles. Esto me gustaba mucho de la línea simplemente leyéndola online, porque muchas veces los productos anti acné son muy abrasivos con las pieles sensibles.
Como podéis ver en la foto superior, la línea See&Saw abarca muchos pasos de una rutina facial empezando por el limpiador y terminando en el tratamiento especializado. Si tenéis la piel seca con problemas de acné es una buena opción probar lo que sugiere la marca de aplicar la emulsión y a continuación la crema libre de grasa, pero puede ser demasiado para las pieles grasas. La línea completa en no comedogénica.

The SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion comes in a very hard plastic bottle of 160ml. The screw cap mimics wood, which I think combined with the green and the design of the sticker, makes the bottle beautiful. It comes with a security lid in the hole where the product get out from (you can see it in next photos), which I don't find a necessity but it's always welcomed.

It comes in a cupboard box and nothing more, which you know pleases me. The bottle I have is, like always happens to me, the old version. Now is revamped and it has a dispenser, which I think it's much better than having to shake the bottle to get product out of it (the new version doesn't have the pretty cap tho).


The SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion se vende en una botella de plástico muy duro de 160ml. La tapa a rosca imita la madera, que pienso que combinado con el verde y el diseño de la etiquete, hace que la botella sea bastante bonita. La botella trae un plástico de seguridad en el agujero por donde sale el producto (lo podéis ver en unas fotos más abajo), que no encuentro necesario pero siempre es bienvenido.
La botella viene en una caja de cartón y nada más, lo que sabéis que me encanta. Ésta botella que tengo es, como me pasa siempre, la versión anterior. La han rediseñado y ahora tiene un dispensador, que es mucho mejor que tener que estar sacudiendo la botella para sacar producto (aunque la nueva versión no tiene el tapón tan bonito).

One of the reasons I decided to buy the SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion was because I searched for the ingredients list online and that convinced me. The ingredient list is fairly long with the vast majority of the ingredients different plant, fruit and seed extracts that are very beneficial for sebum and acne control, as well as very gentle on the skin. The brand highlights in the box "botanical herb echinacea" that appears in the 10th place and is one of the best plant extracts to fight acne, both in the appearance and reducing the inflammation of existing ones.

The only high hazard ingredient is fragrance which I'm sick of saying it but, I don't mind it. However I always include it in my reviews just in case someone has had bad experiences with it.

From the 5 medium hazard ingredients, all of them classified 3 and 4, the only one worth mentioning, in my opinion, is Dimethicone which is a moisturizer, but it's silicone based so it can clog pores.


Una de las razones por las que decidí comprar la the SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion fue porque leí la lista de ingredientes antes de comprarla y me convenció. Ésta lista es bastante larga pero la mayoría de los ingredientes son extractos de plantas, frutas y semillas que son muy beneficiosos para controlar la producción de sebo y acné, además de que son muy amables con la piel. La marca resalta en la caja "botanical herb echinacea" que aparece en el puesto 10º y es uno de los mejores extractos de plantas para tratar el acné, tanto para que se reduzcan sus apariciones como para calmar la inflamación del existente.

El único ingrediente de alto riesgo es perfume, que la verdad que estoy un poco cansada de decir que a mí no me importa. De todas formas siempre lo incluyo por si alguien ha tenido reacciones adversas a él.
De los único 5 ingredientes de riesgo medio de la lista, todos ellos clasificados en 3 y 4, el único que en mi opinión es más interesante de mencionar es Dimethicone, que es un hidratante que por ser una silicona puede obstruir los poros.

The SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion is moisturizing and soothing emulsion, so it has a light consistency, perfect for those with oily, acne prone and sensitive skin (like I have). It's supposed to balance moisture and oil in the skin, as well as calming it.


The SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion es, como su nombre indica, una emulsión hidratante y calmante, así que es ligera y por lo tanto perfecta para aquellos con piel grasa, con tendencia acnéica y sensible (como yo). Se supone que equilibra la hidratación y los aceites de la piel, además de calmarla.

Just to get it out of my chest finally, I love the SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion. It's probably one of my favorite emulsion from all the ones I've tried, and those aren't just a few. Out of the bottle the lotion, or emulsion, is somehow similar to creams, being white and not really runny could led to believe it. However, once you start working it on the skin, it's really clear how lightweight and easy to spread it is. The See & Saw AC Control emulsion is really gentle on the skin and very, very pleasant to apply. The skin feels instantly moisturized and soft. Since it controls oils on the skin, it has a mattifying effect.

The SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion is not a moisturizer for those who don't like cosmetics to have scents. The smell is really flowery and herbal, really fresh. I love the smell because it reminds me of the smell you can sense on the air after a storm in the countryside. It transfers to the skin for a while, although it fades when it's completely absorbed, which takes a little bit longer than emulsions usually do.


Estaba esperando este momento desde que he empezado a escribir la reseña: me encanta la the SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion. Es, probablemente, una de mis emulsiones favoritas de todas las que he probado, que no son pocas. Recién salida de la botella la emulsión o loción (que es lo mismo) se podría pensar que es similar a las cremas, ya que es blanca y no es resbaladiza. Sin embargo, una vez que se empieza a aplicar, está claro lo ligera que es y lo fácil que es extenderla. La See & Saw AC Control emulsion es muy suave con la piel y muy, muy agradable de dársela. La piel se puede sentir casi automáticamente más hidratada y suave. Como controla la grasa, es matificante.

The SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion no es una hidratante para aquellos a los que no les gustan los olores en los cosméticos. El olor es muy floral y herbario, muy fresco. Me encanta el olor porque me recuerda al olor que se puede notar en el aire después de una tormenta en el campo o la montaña. Se transfiere a la piel hasta que se absorbe completamente, algo que tarda en hacer ligeramente más tiempo que otras emulsiones.

Ever since I started using the SAEM See & Saw AC Control Emulsion every morning I noticed my skin more hydrated and that it will last longer without shine derived from my natural oily skin. If I have any pimple it calms down the inflammation and redness and it overall soothes the skin a lot.
The only "bad" experience I had with the emulsion is that took me more than a week to figure out the right quantity, and I think this is because of the confusing aspect of it: I used think, since it's not runny on the back of my hand, to add just a little bit more and then when I started spreading it on my face it was cristal clear that it was too much. So if you ever try it, apply little by little until you're satisfied with the amount on your skin.


Desde que empecé a usar la the SAEM See & Saw AC Control emulsion cada mañana he notado mi piel más hidratada y que dura más tiempo sin brillos que aparecen por tener la piel grasa. Si tengo algún grano calma mucho la inflamación y la rojez, y en general calma mucho la piel.
La única "mala" experiencia que he tenido con ésta emulsión es que me llevó más de una semana conseguir saber la cantidad que debía aplicarme, y creo que es por la ligera confusión que puede generar: solía pensar que, como no es resbaladiza en el dorso de mi mano, que debía echar un poquito más cada vez, y cuando luego empezaba a aplicármela en la cara quedaba claro que me había pasado. Así que si os animáis a probarla alguna vez, id dándoos poco a poco hasta que estéis contentas con la cantidad aplicada.
