Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity is a cleansing balm specifically targeted towards sensitive skins. The brand originally launched the pink one, and then this one, as well as one for oily skin and another one for dry skin. 

My concern with make up removers is much more about how irritating they are on my skin and less about my oily skin, so when I was in Seoul, and of course because the hype surrounding these cleansing balms, I was excited to buy it.

Banila Co Cleant It Zero Purity es una manteca (bálsamo... como se prefiera) limpiador específicamente lanzado para las pieles sensibles. La marca primero sacó a la venta la del tarrito rosa, para luego comercializar ésta y otras dos, una para pieles grasas y otra para pieles secas.

Mi miedo con los desmaquillantes no es cómo afectan a mi piel grasa, si no a mi piel sensible, así que cuando estuve en Seúl y después de leer tantísimo sobre todos éstos, estaba emocionada por comprarlo.

Banila Co describes this Clean It Zero Purity as a "lightweight sorbet-like textured makeup removing cleansing balm". They claim that it's not only a makeup remover, but the first step in skincare since it allegedly gives pre-skincare benefits such as tightening pores, hydration and softening fatigued skin. Its papaya extract should work to naturally exfoliate the skin and remove skin impurities, also softening the skin while taking care of the pores. Banila Co also states in the website that, since the balm doesn't dissolve quickly when it comes in contact with fingers, it's hygienically useable. 

All of this, of course, I got it out of the Banila Co website because the whole packaging of this is in hangul. Which, honestly, I find it kind of "old"- even cosmetics from Spain also has at least their basic information in english... at least they do have that in the website (which I just don't understand why they didn't put it in the box...) Anyway.

Banila Co describe éste Clean It Zero Purity como una "manteca desmaquillante con textura ligera de sorbete". Aseguran que no es sólo un desmaquillante, si no el primer paso de la rutina de cuidado de la piel, ya que aporta beneficios como el cerrar los poros, hidratación y alisar la piel fatigada. Con el extracto de papaya se exfolia naturalmente la piel y elimina impurezas en las piel, también trabajando para alisar la piel y controlar los poros. Banila Co dice en la web que, como la manteca no se disuelve rápidamente en las manos, su uso es higiénico.

Todo esto lo he sacado de su web porque la caja y el tarro están en hangul totalmente. Que sinceramente me choca muchísimo, porque incluso en cosméticos en España se pone ya aunque sea lo básico en inglés. Pero bueno.

Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity has a better ingredient list that the original formula, and from what I've read, the other two special versions. Since this one is designed for sensitive skin, it's 5 free: artificial coloring, synthetic fragance, alcohol, paraben and mineral oils. I'm glad they formulated it like this but what I can't wrap my head around is- why not make every one of these balms like this?  I honestly just don't get it. The balm has a lot of flower extracts, from where it takes it's flowery scent, obviously. The ingredients list, all in all, it's pretty great.

Como está pensada para piel sensible, está libre de 5 ingredientes: colorantes artificiales, fragancias sintéticas, alcohol, parabenos y aceite minerales. Es algo muy bueno que lo formularan así pero lo que no entiendo es porqué no tienen todas las versiones esté "libre de 5". La manteca tiene un montón de extractos florales, de donde se consigue su olor pues, florar.  La verdad que la lista de ingredientes es muy buena.

The Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity comes in a very lightweight plastic jar, with a capacity of 100ml for 22.000 won (roughly 20€). It comes with a lid and a spatula, which I thought was useless the first few times but as you begin to go deeper, it is necessary unless you want to have balm under your nails.

Banila Co Cleant It Zero Purity viene en un tarro muy ligero de plástico, con una cantidad de 100ml por 22.000 wones (aproximadamente 20€). El tarro tiene una tapita de plástico transparente donde se guarda la espátula que en las primeras aplicaciones me parecía inútil pero a medida que se va gastando es muy útil, a no ser que prefieras que se te quede producto debajo de las uñas.

The way this make up remover balm works is pretty easy: you take the product, massage it to remove makeup with dry face and hands, then wet your hands to massage it again while the products emulsifies and then you rinse of with water. Easy, right? And moreover, it's less messy than with oil cleansers. My opinion on it?

La forma en la que se usa éste desmaquillante es muy sencilla: se toma el producto, se masajea en la cara para eliminar el maquillaje con las manos y cara secas, luego se mojan las manos y se vuelve a masajear la cara para emulsionar la manteca y por último se aclara con agua. Fácil, ¿verdad? Además, es más limpio que los aceites desmaquillantes. ¿Mi opinión?

I don't get it. I just don't get the hype for the Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity, and I'm guessing all of the versions. The first time I tried it it's true that I was pretty impressed and I loved that the product didn't slipped through my arms but the more I've used it, the less I've liked it.

I always use a lot of product because I don't see it working with face makeup. The claims that it removes even waterproof makeup? If you go two times with it, sure. But with one application it only removes "superficial makeup" let's say.

You can see in these photos below that it didn't remove that well at all the L'Oreal Super Liner and in person I could still notice the Tony Moly Backstage Gel eyeliner. And it's a shame I didn't remember to let this last one to completely dry because when I have to remove it from my eyes, my whole face becomes a mess.

No lo pillo. No pillo la obsesión por Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity, y supongo que tampoco por ninguna de las ediciones. La verdad que la primera vez que lo utilicé me impresionó bastante y me gustó que el producto no se me escurriera por los brazos como me pasa a veces con los aceites desmaquillantes pero, cuanto más lo he utilizado menos me ha gustado.

Siempre utilizo más producto del realmente necesario porque no veo que funcione con la base de maquillaje etc. Supuestamente eliminar maquillaje resistente al agua pero para ello tengo que repetir su aplicación por lo menos dos veces. Con una digamos que sólo elimina el maquillaje superficial.

Se puede ver en las siguientes fotos que no eliminó correctamente la marca de eyeliner de L'Oreal Super Lines y en persona podía notar todavía el Tony Moly Backstage Gel. Se me olvidó dejar secar por completo éste último, porque cuando lo intento desmaquillar de los ojos la cara entera da bastante pena.

But what I like the least about the Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity is the feeling after rinsing it. I always use a cleansing foam after make up removers, but the feeling it gives me after I just rinsed it off with water is... weird. I feel like my face is greasy somehow, I would say I feel a film in my face.

I just don't like the Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity and I would never repurchase it. I don't get the hype about it. To all the people bragging about this balm- have you ever tried cleansing oils? Prf, I'm just so disappointed in it, that's why it took me forever to take the photos and write this (and honestly decide to publish the review, because I thought of completely skipping it).

Pero lo que menos me gusta del Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity es la sensación que me deja después de aclararlo. Siempre utilizo un limpiador en espuma después de los desmaquillantes, pero la sensación que me dejar justo después de aclararlo es muy rara. Es como si mi cara estuviera grasienta, como si tuviera una película fina por encima.

Creo que es bastante obvio que simplemente no me gusta Banila Co Clean It Zero Purity y nunca me lo volvería a comprar. No entiendo la locura que lo rodea. Para la gente que se le llena la boca hablando de éste: ¿habéis probado alguna vez limpiadores en aceite? Pfff, estoy tan decepcionada con éste producto que me costó muchísimo sacar las fotos, escribir la entrada e incluso decidir si haría una, porque no me apetecía nada escribir sobre un producto que me parece malo.
