Me encanta utilizar mascarillas, sobre todo si son de "papel". ¿A quién, que le guste la cosmética asiática, no le gusta utilizarlas? Hay tantas opciones que probar (de algodón, seda, hidrogel... un lista que parece no tener fin de ingredientes) que, aunque alguna no funcione en tu piel, habrá otra que sí lo hará.

The only time I buy sheet masks online is when I need to reach a certain amount of purchase or when they aren't overpriced. Which only happens in one store: koreadepart. First time I tried to buy from them was more than a year ago, but the package got into customs and I didn't pay for it to get to me ( I had to pay 60€, when I already payed the EMS shipping which, if you've bought something with EMS shipping you know that you might as well pay with a kidney). So I was a little apprehensive to buy from them again, but in July I just went crazy I needed the Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Power Essence (I tried a sample and worked wonders) so I decided to buy it from them because again, everywhere else I found it was very very overprized.
I'm always interested in buying and trying new sheet masks, so when I saw a 5 x 1$ offer on these Medi Peel (M.D.P) black masks? You know the rest. An that's also why I made this first mask review, because I've never used this often (for two-three weeks) the same type of mask.
Las pocas veces que compro mascarillas online lo hago cuando tengo que llegar a un mínimo de compra o cuando no están con el precio inflado. Lo que online sólo he visto que pase en koreadepart. La primera vez que compré con ellos fue hace más de un año, pero el paquete me cayó en aduanas y no pagué para recibirlo (me pedían 60€ para ello, y ya había pagado el servicio postal "privado" de Corea, EMS, que si habéis tenido que pagarlo alguna vez sabréis que sale más barato pagar directamente con un riñón). Así que me daba un poco de miedo volver a comprarles, pero en Julio me volví un poco loca después de haber probado una muestra del Advanced Snail 96 Power Essence de Cosrx, quería comprar el tamaño completo, y el único sitio donde no estaba el precio inflado era aquí.
Siempre estoy dispuesta a probar nuevas mascarillas, así que cuando vi que tenían una oferta de 5 x 1$ (casi 1€ ahora, DEP los días en los que para los del euro era una fiesta comprar en dólares) en éstas mascarillas negras de Medi Peel (M.D.P.)? Pues aquí estoy. Y ésa es la razón también por la que nunca hasta ahora había hecho una entrada sobre mascarillas, es la primera vez que utilizo durante tiempo seguido 8dos o tres semanas) el mismo tipo de mascarillas.

I swear there were 5, but I just didn't remember to take the photos before using one of them. As stated by Medi-Peel, the M.D.P. Aqua Ultra Deep Ampoule Black Mask is soaked in that ampoule contains caviar extract, adenosine and USDA complex; all of this results in firm elasticity enhancement, pore elasticity, moisture recharge and waste absorption. To understand why the ingredients should do that:
Medi-Peel explains that this Aqua Ultra Deep Ampoule Black Mask provides a triple moisture step: first step the skin active ingredient works, second hyaluronic acid and third one provides skin soothing. Therefore, after using this mask, the brand claims that 3 different effects are achieved: moisture activator (it moisturizes and maintain skin balance), energizing activator (provides energy inside the skin and nutrition for a vital and elastic skin) and natural activator (the ingredients are natural and hypoallergenic, good for even sensitive skin).
- Adenosine: is, long story short, an active that stimulates the production of collagen. It is also known as "Nature Activator".
- Caviar extract: should provide protein, amino and fatty acids, lipids, vitamins... to the skin.
- USDA: honestly, I don't even know what this is. All I can find online is about agricultural things from USA. I'm like what?
De verdad que tenía 5, pero con la emoción de probarlas se me olvidó sacarles fotos antes de usar ninguna. Medi-Peel explica que las mascarillas M.D.P. Aqua Ultra Deep Ampoule Black Mask están empapadas en un serum que contiene extracto de caviar, adenosina y complejo USDA; lo que hace que ayuden a mejorar la elasticidad de la piel, controlar los poros y su elasticidad, proveer hidratación y absorción total. Para entender si los ingredientes podrán hacer lo mencionado:
- Adenosina: es, dicho resumidamente, un active que estimula la producción de colágeno. Es también conocido como "activador de la naturaleza".
- Extracto de caviar: debería proporcionar proteína, aminoácidos, lípidos, vitaminas... a la piel.
- USDA: siendo sincera no tengo ni idea de lo que es, y todo lo que encuentro sobre ello online es sobre cosas de agricultura de EEUU... Me quedé en plan "mmm perdón?".

Usually, sheet mask are white, because cotton is white. This mask is black because it's made of charcoal. The sheet is black cotton, imagine your regular sheet masks but black. It doesn't feel any different.
Medi-Peel explica que ésta mascarilla Aqua Ultra Deep Ampoule Black aporta hidratación en tres pasos: en el primero empieza a funcionar el ingrediente que activa la piel, en el segundo el ácido hialurónico. Por lo que, después de usar ésta mascarilla, la marca dice que se podrán notar 3 efectos diferentes en la piel: activador de hidratación (hidrata y mantiene el balance de la piel), activador de energía (aporta energía dentro de la piel, así como nutrición, esenciales para una piel vital y con elasticidad óptima) y activador de naturaleza (los ingredientes son natural e hipoalergénicos, por lo que es adecuada incluso para la piel sensible).
Suena bastante bien, ¿verdad? Pero, ¿de verdad funcionan como dice la compañía?

Medi-Peel M.D.P. Aqua Ultra Deep Ampoule Black Mask fits relatively my face, except for the mouth area which is just enormous and I have to fold it. It's also not the best around my nose, the hole is too big for my nose, but this is something that happens with every mask I've tried. The only thing I feel a little bit uncomfortable with is the eye area; the hole are just small and it has material that I personally hate and I have to fold in my under eye area which makes it a little bit uncomfortable to blink until I get used to it.
Normalmente, éste tipo de mascarillas de algodón son blancas (porque el algodón es blanco...). Ésta es negra porque además está fabricada con carbón. Si habéis probado alguna mascarilla blanca de algodón, ésta es exactamente igual, sólo que negra, no es apreciable ninguna diferente en la textura.
La mascarillas Medi-Peel M.D.P. Aqua Ultra Deep Ampoule Black Mask se ajusta relativamente bien en mi cara, excepto por la zona de la boca que es enorme y tengo que doblar en los lados. Tampoco es la que mejor se ajusta a la zona de mi nariz, el agujero es demasiado grande, pero es algo que me pasa con casi todas las que he probado. Lo único con lo que estoy un poco a disgusto es con la zona de los ojos; los agujeros son pequeños y vienen con el recorte sin quitar del todo, que nunca utilizo y personalmente odio, y tengo que doblarlo en el párpado inferior, lo que hace que sea un poco incómodo el parpadear hasta que me acostumbro.
The mask comes soaked in ampoule, and it lasts without drying for about an hour, depending on how hydrated my face is, a couple of times it lasted almost 1h 15minutes. I know the package says to wear this for about 20 minutes but I always wear masks until they dry. Apart from what I've already stated with the fit, the mask feels quite nice, it doesn't slip down the face and doesn't give an itchy sensation to my super sensitive skin.
As for the results, hydration is very apparent. After using it my face looks more dewy and pumped, and I can feel it really hydrated it, while not forgetting that it does feel sticky until I tap the remains and it's fully absorbed. But as for the other claims like firming, elasticity, pore control, I can't really assert it.
La mascarilla viene literalmente empapada en ampoule y dura sin secarse del todo sobre una hora, dependiendo en lo hidratada que esté mi piel, ya que he llegado a estar con ella hasta 1h y 15 minutos. Sé que en el paquete pone que se debe llevar sobre 20 minutes, pero siempre las utilizo hasta que se secan del todo. Aparte de lo ya dicho con cómo se ajustan, la mascarilla es bastante agradable a la piel, no se escurre y no da ninguna sensación de picazón a mi piel hiper sensible.
Hablando de resultado, la hidratación que aporta es evidente. Después de usar ésta mascarilla noto la piel de la cara mucho "jugosa", más "llena", digamos que la hidratación se puede ver, aunque sí es verdad que la cara está pegajosa hasta que dando golpecitos consigo que se absorba del todo. Pero no puedo afirmar nada sobre la elasticidad, control de poros y firmeza que se supone que también aporta.
For the price I pay for 5 of them, I would definitely repurchase these ones if I see again an offer like that, maybe this time in white to see if this black mask makes a different comparing it to its white counterpart. It's a very inexpensive mask that provides instant moisture, so It's good as a pick me up kind of mask.

Por el precio que pagué por las 5, volvería a comprarlas definitivamente, también las blancas para poder compararlas con éstas, y así ver si de verdad el que sean blancas o negras tienen alguna razón de ser. Es una mascarilla que no es cara, así que creo que es una opción a considerar para una hidratación rápida en casos puntuales.
Las compré en Korea Depart, pero la oferta de 5x1 no existe ya. De todas formas, dejo el link por si a alguien pudiera interesarle aquí.
