When I finished my previous foam cleanser (Holika Holika Soda Pore Cleanser, which I wrote about here ) I wanted to try a new one. I don't really know why, but I was determined to buy Tony Moly's AC foam cleanser, but while I was in search for it I got a sample of this Missha's cleanser and it honestly blew my mind.

First thing I noticed was the nice color- light pearled blue. Next thing- the smell (you probably now by now that I'm a smell freak). It smells wonderful, like a high-end cosmetic smell mixed with coast smell... or at least that's what it reminds me of.


Cuando terminé mi limpiador anterior (Holika Holika Soda Pore Cleanser, del que escribí una entrada aquí) quería probar uno nuevo. No sé porqué, pero estaba determinada a comprar el Tony Moly AC Foam Cleanser, pero mientras estaba en su búsqueda probé una muestra de éste limpiador de Missha y sinceramente me encantó.

Lo primero que noté fue el color tan bonito- como azul perlado. Lo siguiente fue el olor (ya sabéis que me encantan los olores). Huelo genial, como un cosmético de alta gama mezclado con olor de la costa (sí, la del mar)... o por lo menos eso es a lo que me recuerda.

Foam cleansers usually need little product to do its job and it is most of the time like that, even though I've tried some samples that failed miserably. It's is on another level with this one, I spend like 2 or 3 minutes with the cleansing step (measured with songs by the way) and I end up having my face covered in white foam like I never had it with any other one.

I started using this coming out of the recovery time after I had to use for some weeks the Avene gel cleanser (I didn't anticipate finishing the Holika Holika cleanser and I was about 3-4 weeks waiting for this one to arrive), and of course I had dry patches and what-not. The difference was astounding, but I was honestly expecting it because it also happened to me when I switched cleanser for the first time.


Los limpiadores en espuma requieren de poco producto en general para hacer su trabajo y es así la mayor parte de las veces, aunque he probado algunos que han fallado estrepitosamente. Éste está a otro nivel, estoy como dos o tres minutos con éste paso de limpieza (que, por cierto, mido en música) y termino con la cara llena de espuma blanca.

Empecé a usar éste cuando estaba saliendo de un bache después de haber estado utilizando el limpiador en gel de Avene (no anticipé cuando se me iba a gastar el limpiador de Holika Holika y estuve casi un mes esperando a que éste llegara) y, por supuesto, tenía zonas muy secas y peladas. La diferencia fue casi instantánea, aunque la verdad que me esperaba algo parecido ya que también me pasó lo mismo la primera vez que cambié de limpiadores.

I've read online that some people complain about this cleanser being too drying. It isn't for me, but I also have oily skin, so maybe if you have dry skin you should try a sample first. It does have a high pH, but foam cleansers usually do. Everything should be good if you use a good pH balancing toner afterwards.


He leído a gente por internet quejarse de que éste limpiador seca mucho la piel. No para mí, pero también tengo la piel grasa, así que si tienes la piel seca igual deberías probar una muestra primero. Tiene un alto pH, pero como casi todos los limpiadores en espuma. No debería pasar nada si luego se usa un tónico que equilibre el pH.

But to be honest, what surprised me the most was the size of it! Those are 200ml for roughly 9€ I paid. The one pictured is my spare bottle, I've been using this product morning and night since february maybe (and it's july) and I still have product for about 2-3 months, I guess. Therefore, at least for me, it's worth the price.


Pero siendo sincera, lo que más me sorprendió de él fue el tamaño. Lo de la foto son 200ml por más o menos 9€ que pagué. El bote que veis en la foto es mi "repuesto", he estado usándolo día y noche desde febrero (es julio) y todavía tengo producto para otros 2 ó 3 meses, creo. Así que por lo menos para mí, es totalmente vale lo que cuesta.
