One of my favorite China Glaze nail polishes I own is without doubt Midtown Magic. A dark nail polish with gold reflective particles, it's completely opaque with a second coat. It looks black but it's actually a very dark rich purple, and depending on the light the purple comes through beautifully. I always think that this must also have green reflective particles but then I look at the bottle and I'm not that sure anymore.
As all polishes with glitter, is a bit of a pain in the ass to remove it.


Uno de mis colores favoritos de esmaltes que tengo de China Glaze es sin duda Midtown Magic. Es un esmalte oscuro con partículas reflectantes doradas, y es completamente opaco con dos capas. Parece negro pero es en realidad un morado oscuro y profundo, y dependiendo cómo le dé la luz el morado se aprecia muy bien. Siempre pienso que tiene que tener también partículas verdes, pero luego miro la botella y ya no estoy tan segura de ello.
Como pasa con todos los esmaltes con purpurina, es un poco difícil quitárselo.

Straight to the point:

  • Base: Formula X. 
  • Color: China Glaze Midtown Magic. As I said, two coats. Really easy to work with, great formula- not thick but neither too liquid.
  • Top Coat: Formula X.

Al grano:

  • Base: Formula X.
  • Color: China Glaze Midtown Magic. Como he dicho, dos capas. Es muy fácil de trabajar, fórmula fantástica sin ser gorda o demasiado líquida.
  • Top Coat: Formula X.
