Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Fresh Watery Cream

Nature Republic is a brand from whom I've honestly liked everything I've tried. I know they don't have the best formulations, but their products work amazingly well on my skin. Even if I love Shiseido's Pureness lotion, I wanted to try a cheaper option, and I read enough about the Super Aqua line to buy it when I went to Seoul. Nature Republic es una marca de la que me ha gustado todo lo que he probado. Sé que no tienen las mejores formulaciones, pero sus productos siempre me han ido muy bien. Aunque me encantara la emulsión Pureness de Shiseido, quería probar algo más barato, y el haber leído tanto sobre la línea Super Aqua hizo que ésta crema entrara en mi lista de "comprar sí o sí en Seúl". There are 3 types of "Super Aqua" creams, each one with different consistencies for dry, combination or oily skin. The one I bought is the one for oily skins, even if I would have bought the combination one if I didn't like this one so much in the store. The 80ml of product come in a cristal jar, that it is maybe a little heavy for its size. Once you open the screwcap, there's another "plus" of protection, a little white lid (that sometimes get's stuck into the screwcap but nothing to worry about). The jar come sin a cupboard box and with a plastic spatula that sadly doesn't fit into the jar (why do a spatula for it if I'm going to have to store it somewhere else?) Existen 3 tipos de cremas en ésta línea, para pieles seca, mixtas y grasas. La que me compré es obviamente para pieles grasas, además de fue la que cuando la probé en la tienda me sorprendió muchísimo. La crema viene con 80ml de producto, en un tarro de cristal que pesa bastante para lo que es. La tapa del tarro es a rosca teniendo un "plus" de protección con la tapita blanca (que a veces se me ha quedado atascada en la otra tapa, aunque no es nada de lo que preocuparse). El tarro viene en la típica caja de cartón y con un espátula. Lo que no entiendo es porqué hacen una espátula que no se puede guardar dentro del tarro, sino que hay que guardarla aparte. The consistency of the "cream" is totally gel-like and very runy, being pretty obvious how water-bases this is. It smells like your regular face cream: not overwhelmingly strong, no flowery or alcohol scent (if you've read any of my other entries you know how much I love when a cream smells like this, so A+ for that). As for the ingredients on the list, the list could be a little bit more natural, but I ain't complaining. Nature Republic states that this is made of sea water and 30 different maritime extracts, providing "ultimate hydration and protection from environmental pollutants". La consistencia de ésta crema es gel totalmente, muy viscosa, lo que evidencia su alto contenido en agua. Huele como considero que tendrían que oler todas las cremas faciales: suave, sin olor a alcohol o demasiado floral. La lista de ingredientes desde mi humilde opinión e ignorancia podría ser más corta y con ingredientes más naturales. Nature Republic explica que ésta crema está formulada a partir de agua marítima de y 30 extractos marítimos diferentes que "aportan la hidratación definitiva"y ofrece protección contra la polución".

I was so scored of trying new hydrating creams but I couldn't be happier that I made the decision to buy this one. With just a tiny bit of product the whole face gets its proper hydration, and I never use the spatula because I always end up taking much more product than what it's needed. When applying the cream it really gives a fresh feeling to the skin, similar to when you pour cold water but a lot more pleasant. The Super Aqua Max Fresh Watery Cream really does a great job at hydrating skin, even where I live during winter where the average highest temperature is about 5ºC and the wind feels like it's cutting every inch of exposed skin.


Siendo sincera, me daba miedo probar nuevas hidratantes, pero no puedo estar más contenta de haberme decidido a compras la Super aqua. Con muy poco producto cunde para toda la aplicación, hasta el punto de que tuve que dejar de utilizar la espátula porque siempre cogía más de lo necesario. Al extenderla, la crema deja una sensación de frescor en la cara que me encanta, como cuando te echas agua fría en la cara pero más agradable, claro. La crema Super Aqua Max Fresh Watery hace un trabajo genial hidratando, incluso donde vivo yo en invierno, donde la temperatura máxima media es de 5ºC y parece que el viente te esté cortando cada centímetro de piel expuesta.



It hydrates my skin through the whole day and since it's gel, it does not leave any glossiness on the skin, in fact once it dries (which is fairly quickly and not sticky at all during the process) it's pretty matte- to the point where most of the days, if my skin is behaving, I don't even put BB cream on (which is the normal thing I do during winter time).
Having really sensitive skin kind of sucks, because apart from how a product work on my skin I also have to notice how my skin reacts to it. And of course my skin reacts amazingly to this- meaning that it doesn't turn red when I'm applying it or after I'm done, and I haven't noticed appearances of comodones or clogging pores.

Honestly I just want to recommend Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Fresh Watery Cream to every person out there, specially to my fellow people with oily skin.



Hidrata, al menos para mí, la piel todo el día y como es en gel no me saca ni un brillo, todo lo contrario, matifica bastante. Es más, si la piel se está comportando como debe, muchos días ni siquiera me molesto en darme BB cream porque me gusta cómo queda la piel después de seguir toda la rutina.
Tener la piel tan sensible es muy frustrante porque aparte de ver cómo funciona un producto en mi piel, también tengo que tener mucho cuidado con cómo reacciona ésta al producto. Y como ya sospecharéis, mi piel reacciona perfectamente a ésta crema: no reacciona, no hay ningún cambio a peor, vaya. Ni poros "cerrados", ni comodones, ni nada.

La verdad que a todo el mundo que me quiere escuchar le recomiendo la Super Aqua Max Fresh Watery Cream, sobre todo a aquellas personas que tengáis la piel grasa.
