Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser review

Wandering through the stands of Nature Collection back in Seoul with a friend, the Make Remake products, specially their Cloud All In One Cleanser, instantly caught my eye. I'd never seen a product with a texture this.

I didn't even know the brand existed when a very nice salesman explain to my friend and I (well, mostly to her because she knows fluent Korean to be completely honest...) about this very weird in texture supposed all-in-one cleanser: it is to be used as a makeup remover and also work as a cleanser, not needing another cleanser afterwards. Or so they say.


Paseándome por los stands de una de la tiendas de Nature Collection en Seúl con una amiga, los productos de Make Remake, especialmente el Cloud All In One Cleanser, me llamaron la atención. Nunca había visto un producto con una textura como ésta.

No sabía ni que la marca existía cuando un dependiente muy amable nos explicó a mi amiga y a mí (bueno, más que nada a mi amiga que es la que sabe coreano fluido siendo totalmente clara...) sobre éste limpiador de textura tan rara y que se supone "todo en uno": se puede usar como desmaquillante y a la vez como segundo limpiador, no necesitan otro diferente para el segundo paso. O por lo menos eso dicen.

I didn't buy the Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser that day and I researched a bit about the brand, with only finding that it's owned by LG. I gave myself a day to think about buying it but 3 things convinced me and I went back to the store the following day as soon as I could: the texture, the design of the products and the sale- it was 9,900 won from the original 14,000 won (quick note: this is the price that they are marking nowadays in their website, but I actually remember it being 39,000 won... My memory could be failing me but...).


No compré el limpiador Cloud All In One Cleanser de Make Remake (literalmente: limpiador todo en uno de nube) e investigué un poco sobre la marca, encontrando sólo que son de LG. Me di un día para pensar sobre comprarlo o no, pero me convencieron 3 cosas y al día siguiente me fui a la tienda pitando en cuanto pude: la textura, el diseño de los productos y que estaba de rebajas a un precio de 9.000 won en vez de los originales 14.000 won (nota rápida: en su web hoy en día lo marcan como ése precio, pero si no recuerdo mal el precio original marcado cuando lo compré yo era de 39.000won... Que podría estar equivocada pero...).

The Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser comes in a 90g hard plastic jar, with plastic twist-off lid, a plastic protective lid and a plastic spatula. Yay for including it! And it's actually big enough to be able to pick up product and not drop it afterwards (and I really use this because my nails are too long to take product directly from the jar). All of it comes in a cupboard box with almost no sing of English anywhere.


El limpiador Cloud All In One Cleanser de Make Remake viene en un tarro de plástico duro de 90g, con tapa a rosca de plástico, tapa protectora de plástico y espátula de plástico. Bien por ellos por incluir ésta última la verdad, y que sea lo suficientemente grande como para coger producto y que luego no se caiga (y sí que uso las espátulas porque tengo las uñas demasiado largas como para coger producto directamente del tarro). Todo ello viene en una caja de cartón con casi ningún signo de inglés.

All I know about the Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser is what the box says, that it's supposedly slightly acidic, and that it creates a "unique foam cleaner" that it's supposed to give moisture while removing makeup.


Todo lo que sé sobre el limpiador Cloud All In One Cleanser de Make Remake es lo que dice la cara, que es supuestamente algo acídico, que crea una espuma limpiadora única y que se supone que aporta humectación a la piel mientras elimina el maquillaje.

As I said, the main reason I bought the Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser was because the texture really intrigued me. Como ya he dicho, la mayor razón por la que compré el limpiador Cloud All In One Cleanser de Make Remake fue por la textura. He insertado el post de instagram sobre ésta entrada debajo de la siguiente foto, donde si dais a las flechas a los lados podéis ver unos vídeos que grabé para ver (y oír) la textura.

I don't know if I'm going to sound dumb to you with what I'm about to say, but this is what I imagine clouds to be like. It reminds me of whipped cream but a lot more dense. I actually love the scent of the Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser, like a mix of chemically flowers and clean, although it's a little bit overwhelming on the face. Also never, ever, eat this; it got in my mouth a couple of times on accident while I was trying to remove my lipstick and it was disgusting, like swallowing collogne.


No sé si os voy a sonar tonta con lo siguiente, pero de verdad que es así como me imagino que son las nubes. Me recuerda a nata montada pero mucho más densa. La verdad es que me gusta muchísimo el olor del limpiador Cloud All In One Cleanser de Make Remake, es como una mezcla de olor floral artificial y limpio, aunque sí que es un poco abrumador en la cara. Que por cierto nunca, nunca os comáis esto; se me metió un par de veces en la boca sin querer mientras me intentaba desmaquillar los labios y fue asqueroso, como comer colonia.

Thanks to that friend that knows korean, I got to know that the package says to take a similar amount to a 500 won (so about 2€) of product, wet it, apply it to dry face, massage, wet your hands and massage again, and then remove with water. I recently went through their website (that I think is fairly new because I couldn't find it back in April) and I swear it never emulsify on me. Never.


Gracias a mi amiga que sabe coreano, pude saber que en el paquete dice que hay que coger una cantidad de producto parecida a una moneda de 500 won (como una de 2€), humedecerlo, aplicarlo en la cara seca con movimiento circulares, repetir el masaje con las manos húmedas y retirar. Hace poco he mirado por su web (que creo que es nueva porque no la pude encontrar en abril) y de verdad que jamás conseguí que emulsionara. Nunca.

Sadly, the Make Remake Cloud All In One Cleanser is kind of bad at removing make up and a little bit useless as a second cleanser. This will remove you face make up, sure, but only if you don't wear a lot of it and if you're willing to spend double the time as you usually do with other products. In the photos here it may have removed the mascara, but it's terrible at doing it in the actual eyelashes, and I tried in different ways: leaving it for some minutes (yes, plural), rubbing it while using very wet product... it never did it. And in my face it actually removed my Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner, unlike here, because it isn't the waterproof version.


Desgraciadamente, el limpiador Cloud All In One Cleanser de Make Remake es bastante malo como desmaquillante y sin sentido como un segundo limpiador. Eliminar el maquillaje de la cara, sí, pero sólo si no te aplicas demasiado o si estás dispuesta a dedicar a ello bastante más tiempo del que le dedicas con otros productos. En las fotos eliminar la máscara de pestañas, pero es terrible haciéndolo en las pestañas y lo he intentando de diferentes formas: dejándolo varios minutos (sí, en plural), frotando con el producto muy húmedo... nunca lo ha hecho. Y en la cara sí que se eliminaba el Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner, pero creo que era simplemente el agua, ya que no uso la versión waterproof.

I would say that if you're curious about the texture and don't wear too much makeup, give it a try, but only if you find it at a discounted price, because I find trouble even thinking this is worth the amount I paid for it (not even the 4,000 won that they mark now). Oh and never travel with it on an airplane because it consumes... Yep. I wasn't even carrying it in cabin.


La verdad es que diría que si os produce curiosidad la textura y no soléis llevar mucho maquillaje, lo probéis si os apetece, pero pagad sólo un precio de descuento porque no creo que valgo lo que cuesta (ni siquiera los 14.000 won que marcan ahora). Oh, y nunca viajéis con él en el avión, se consume... En serio. Y ni siquiera lo llevaba en cabina.

I'm still very interested in another couple of products form the brand that I eyed when I bought this one, like their black oil cleanser or their anti dust mist, so I haven't completely crossed this brand from future buyings. I'm just disappointed this didn't work for me.


Siendo sincera todavía estoy bastante interesada en otros productos de la marca a los que eché el ojo cuando compré éste, como su aceite limpiador negro o la bruma anti polución, así que no les he tachado completamente de la lista de futuras compras. Simplemente me ha decepcionado que no haya funcionado para mí.
